The bottom line...

I was what Beth Moore calls a "pit jumper". In talking to a very dear friend a couple of days ago, about the book "Get Out of That Pit", I realized that not only was I a habitual pit jumper, but I was getting ready to jump back in AGAIN...

I am so thankful tha the Lord didn't let me do that. Looking back over the last week or so, I had noo idea how close I was to taking that jump. In fact I'd have probably jumped back in, and felt right at home...hanging my pictures back up and everything.

Totally Cool

The first time I posted here was the first week that I started doing the Breaking Free study. Then I took it off, and moved it to a different blog. I have like 5. LOL! But this time it's going up and staying up. (I may come back and do a recap of that one other post...we'll see).

Anyways, I'm sitting here at work...I have some free time...and working on the beginning of week 3. I'm only on Day 1 right now, which deals with unbelief. And here is the cool part...this morning when I got here, I pulled out my headset, went to Oneplace.com, and listened to Beth's teaching on Romans 4 about what it means to believe God. I've listened to that thing so often, I dread the day when it goes off the archives page. LOL! Anyway, everytime I listen to it, it's like she has read my diary, and gotten into my head, saw what I was thinking and started preaching to me. She always does that, which is absolutely amazing. But I digress.

I started doing the workbook, and right there on the second page, she gets into how it's not a matter of believing in God, but believing Him.
